If you were in the Fit Coordinator role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Supporting the Fit and Pattern Block program, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure fit and layering theory is in alignment with guest and brand needs
- Collaborating with Design and Development teams to maintain the existing blocks and develop new blocks for seasonal and trend requirements
- Collaborating with sewing team to maintain the block sample library up to date
- Organizing and tracking the block sample library
- Supporting and contributing to CLO3D block library
- Supporting Fit specialists throughout the development season, from concepting through to fit approved stage
- Supporting the communications between Merchandising, Compliance and Brand Marketing teams to ensure clear guest messaging on fit, sizing specs and layering approach is universally translated
- Supporting Design and Development teams to problem solve and evaluate consistency of fit in products, providing guidance and support for spec accuracy
- Supporting Fit specialists on creating fit documentations for educational purposes
- Ensuring fit models and mannequins appropriately represent target figures
- Supporting on other projects as assigned
- Upholding Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing, throughout the Arc’teryx supply chain

- Working closely with Design and Merchandising teams to support a strategic plan for fit extensions across all product categories
- Working closely with Design to identify new product opportunities and create blocks
- Working on the evolution of fit and fit consistency across all product categories
- Providing feedback and input into improving fit and development processes.
Are you our next Fit Coordinator?
- You have 2+ years’ experience in production pattern making, grading, and fitting
- You have an Undergraduate Degree in apparel design or other relevant field, equivalent industry training/certification or related business experience
- You have knowledge of sizing, fitting and body shapes globally
- You have knowledge of garment construction and CAD pattern making
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe illustrator
- You are fluent in English and have exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- You have excellent attention to detail
- You have strong interpersonal skills
- You remain flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
