FIS ALS Business Analyst
About the
role
We are hiring a Business Analyst to support and evolve a major lending platform built on FIS ALS. You will own the analysis that turns business need into
deliverable, well-governed change across the lending lifecycle — from
requirement elicitation through functional/technical specification and into
test and release.
You will be the
bridge between Product Management, Product Owners, Scrum Teams, business users
and leadership.
Responsibilities
Business
analysis
· Gather
and document business requirements from stakeholders.
· Run
workshops, interviews and requirement elicitation sessions.
· Analyse
current- and future-state lending processes.
· Produce
Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
and user stories.
· Define
acceptance criteria and business rules.
FIS ALS
functional analysis
· Understand
and analyse ALS functionality across Loan Origination, Loan Servicing,
Commercial Lending, Credit Facilities, Collateral Management, and Customer

· Support
ALS upgrade and enhancement initiatives.
Technical
business analysis
· Prepare

· Analyse
system interfaces and data flows.
· Work
with developers on API integrations, batch processing, file-based interfaces,
and data mapping & transformation.
· Support
solution design discussions.
Requirements
Essential
skills
· Proven Business Analyst experience in banking / lending (loan
origination and/or servicing, commercial lending, credit).
· Hands-on
exposure to FIS ALS — ideally modules such as Servicing Manager,
PARMS configuration, Escrow, Loan Origination or Loan Servicing.
· Strong
BA craft: BRD/FRD, user stories, acceptance criteria, current/future-state
process mapping.
· Requirements
elicitation via workshops and stakeholder interviews.
· Ability
to specify interfaces, batch, file-based feeds and data mapping between
ALS, Core Banking and Treasury.
· Comfortable
querying data for validation (e.g. SQL / Foxtrot queries, RDBMS
concepts).
Desirable
· Experience
across tiered environments (Dev / Test / UAT / Pre-Prod / Production / DR).
· Delivery
of regulatory / compliance-driven lending change.
· Awareness
of the mainframe stack underpinning ALS (COBOL / JCL / DB2 / CICS / Coolgen) —
enough to converse with developers.
· Prior
work on ALS upgrades, patches or vendor (FIS) releases.
Benefits
What we
offer
· Long-term
engagement on a high-visibility lending transformation.
· Hybrid
(Dublin) or remote-first nearshore working.
· Competitive
day rate (aligned to channel and discussed on application).
