We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven First Line Manager to lead a high‑impact regional sales team. This role is pivotal within Sandoz, serving as the key link between commercial strategy and frontline execution. You will be responsible for delivering strong sales results, ensuring operational excellence, and building a high‑performing, engaged team that will drive key commercial initiatives.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
 

  • Achieving sales, productivity, and performance targets for self and team.
  • Creating and executing business plans while aligning strategic and tactical brand planning with company standards.
  • Maintaining existing clients and developing new business opportunities.
  • Allocating resources effectively and managing area sales and expense budgets.
  • Leading, coaching, hiring, training, and developing a high‑performing team of Medical Representatives/Product Specialists.
  • Communicating effectively between senior management and the field team.
  • Building and managing relationships with key accounts, KOLs, and cross‑functional partners while ensuring excellence in customer satisfaction.
  • Ensuring full compliance with Sandoz policies, completing administrative and reporting tasks on time, including reporting adverse events within 24 hours.

What you’ll bring to the role:
 

Essential Requirements:

  • Sales background in Healthcare, Pharma, or related industries.
  • Minimum 3 years of First Line Manager experience.
  • Understanding of evolving pharmaceutical industry dynamics.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and complexity‑management abilities.
  • Skills in leadership, coaching, collaboration, communication, change management, and commercial excellence.
  • Solutions oriented with growth mindset
  • Strong digital affinity with the ability to leverage digital tools, CRM systems, analytics, and remote engagement platforms to enhance team performance and customer engagement
  • Experience with pre‑launch activities.
  • Strong market knowledge and professional network (desirable).
  • High standards of ethics and compliance, with excellent German and English language skills.

In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is EUR 65.605,54/year (on a full-time basis).

In most cases, however, the actual salary will be higher, as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience, qualifications and individual competencies.
