Job Summary:

The VP – First Line of Defense (FLoD) Know Your Customer (KYC) strategic initiatives program manager is a highly critical and visible role, reporting to the Director – Head of Quality Assurance and strategic initiatives. This position will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the FLoD Control Office by providing guidance on strategy and enterprise-wide projects to ensure KYC processes, risks, and solutions are defined, tested, and implemented.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate strategic projects for process enhancement, efficiency, and integration, and oversee all change management aspects. Support the budget and financial aspects of FLoDCo.

• Manage and support technology implementation and operationalization/adoption of new technology tools from the business side.

• Participate in global KYC initiatives with the head office as a regional representative.

• Partner with business units to support the timely execution of KYC-related business initiatives while ensuring KYC requirements are met.

• Strong communication skills. Coordinate with business units and SLoD stakeholders on clarifying scope, process, and interpretation of KYC requirements.

• Measure the soundness of the overall KYC Process, including triggers, SLA tracking, KYC Pre-approvals, risk override, etc.

• Develop and expand relationships with First Line and Second Line partners.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in banking or financial industry.

• PMP/Six sigma certification is preferred but not mandatory.

• Hands-on experience with PowerPoint and Excel, and presenting to senior management.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $133K - $181K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
