Role: Firmware Test Engineer
Location: Cikarang, Java, Indonesia
Duties & Responsibilities:
•Design, develop, and implement test and validation procedures for embedded firmware applications.
•Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and defect analysis on firmware running on embedded systems.
•Collaborate with firmware engineers to define test requirements and system modifications.
•Develop automated test scripts and tools to improve firmware testing efficiency.
•Assist in firmware process improvements related to testing and validation.
•Document test results, issues, and corrective actions thoroughly.
•Support integration teams with firmware-related test and validation issues.
Skills and Experience Required:
•Minimum 3 years of experience in firmware development and embedded system testing or validation.
•Proficient in C/C++ programming and embedded system architectures.
•Experience with firmware debugging, testing tools, and version control systems (e.g., git).
•Knowledge of device communication protocols and digital security concepts is a plus.
•Familiarity with test automation frameworks and RF testing is advantageous.
Education:
•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
