• Blue Yonder is seeking a highly skilled and experienced FinOps Manager - Security Spend Optimization specializing in financial analysis and modelling to join our team. In this we are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven FinOps Manager to lead cost optimization efforts for Security Spend across our cloud and SaaS environments.
• This role will focus on analyzing security-related expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing strategies to enhance SaaS margins while maintaining strong security postures.
• The ideal candidate will have a blend of financial acumen, cloud cost management expertise, and a deep understanding of security tooling and infrastructure.

• Cost Optimization of Azure, Security Cost experience and analytics experience
• Expertise is Excel & Power BI

What you’ll do:

Key Responsibilities:

• Security Cost Optimization: Analyze and optimize spending on cloud security tools, third-party security services, compliance frameworks, and related operational costs.
• Cost Allocation & Chargeback: Develop cost allocation models to track security costs by product and business unit to ensure transparency and accountability.
• SaaS Margin Improvement: Work closely with Finance, Engineering, and Security teams to balance security effectiveness with cost efficiency, improving overall product margins.
• Vendor Management: Partner with procurement to evaluate security tool contracts, suggest insights for negotiations, and assess alternative solutions to optimize spending.
• Usage Efficiency: Identify underutilized or redundant security tools, consolidate solutions where appropriate, and ensure alignment with business and compliance needs.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with Finance to create security spend forecasts and ensure alignment with financial goals.
• Data-Driven Insights: Help develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms to monitor security spend trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work cross-functionally with Security, Finance, CloudOps, and Product teams to drive FinOps best practices in security cost management.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, IT Finance, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security tools and services.
• Experience optimizing security spend in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and cost analysis frameworks.
• Familiarity with security compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST) and their cost implications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present financial insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
