Job Summary:
The Trim Supervisor will oversee the finish/trim shop operations within the manufacturing facility, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. This role involves managing a team, coordinating projects, and collaborating with other departments to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision: Lead and manage a team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Quality Control: Ensure all processes meet industry standards and specifications. Conduct regular inspections and audits of quality.
Safety Compliance: Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting safety training for team members.
Production Planning: Collaborate with the production manager / plant manager to schedule and prioritize jobs based on production timelines.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to processes and techniques to enhance efficiency and reduce waste using Lean principles.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and serviced regularly.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of necessary operations, including production reports, quality inspections, and employee performance.
QualificationsQualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in welding preferred.
