Job Description:
Production Supervisor will direct and manage final assembly operations for 2nd shift Mt. Pleasant Big Tex location. This individual will maintain all safety, quality, and production standards, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate final assembly activities with Plant manager to ensure 1st shift final assemble objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Monitor performance for production and quality standards.
- Promotes a positive safety culture at all times.
- Provides direction and leadership to personnel (Approximately 45 employees).
- Participation in Lean Manufacturing efforts & initiatives.
- Must focus on customers' expectations, prevent problems, and strive for continuous improvement resulting in improved results for themselves, customers and other employees.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Experience:
- 3-5 years production supervisor experience.
- Experience managing 15-25 employees.
- Must exercise continuous leadership to focus plant efforts on priorities.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. Equivalent
