Summary
This position will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products. Primary responsibilities will include wash, polish, deburr, and inspection of parts through various detail processes. This may include detailing such as scraping, grinding, sanding, rounding edges, knocking off burs, and other forms of finishing materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, copper, titanium, and plastic within a manufacturing setting and to the specifications of the drawing/print.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Must understand and adhere to all relevant ISO related Quality Management System Processes.
- Ability to inspect parts visually and under magnification as required.
- Ability to clean parts per specified equipment callout.
- Ability to deburr, polish, finish parts through various processes such as scraping, grind, file, sand, buff, wire brush, or buffing cloth or other methods as required.
- Holds part against buffing or grinding wheel.
- Maintain lot traceability.
- Interfaces with area supervision and shop floor planning to ensure priorities and On-Time delivery to secondary and customers.
- Adhere to health and safety laws and policies established by the company.
- Keep an organized and clean workspace.
- Other duties may be assigned. Examples may include packaging, 5S projects, and inspection.
