Summary

Join our Treasury Operations team as a Financial Transaction Specialist II professional, where you’ll play a critical role in solving complex payment challenges and driving operational excellence. In this position, you’ll lead advanced research and reconciliation efforts, uncovering and resolving intricate payment discrepancies while supporting high-volume transaction processing.

The Financial Transaction Specialist II will collaborate with cross-functional partners to streamline workflows, enhance automation, and reduce suspense balances—making a direct impact on efficiency and accuracy. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on problem-solving, enjoys improving processes, and has a passion for working with and transforming data from diverse vendor sources into clean, actionable insights.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Research complex payment discrepancies, suspense items, rejects, and missing/misapplied payments

  • Monitor payments, handle NSF/returned payments, and support payment processing and reconciliation (cash to collections)

  • Identify process gaps and drive automation improvements

  • Write/maintain SQL queries and validate data

  • Support audits, QA, reporting, and team training

Skills & Qualifications

  • 4+ years in financial operations or related experience

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

  • Excellent communication and attention to detail

  • Advanced Excel/Word/Outlook required; SQL preferred

Educational Requirements

  • 4-year degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience
