Job Summary:
The Financial Systems and Reporting Analyst III is responsible for supporting implementation and maintenance of financial system solutions including master data management, security, data reconciliation and financial reporting solutions.
Essential Functions:
- Leads implementation and ongoing maintenance of financial systems
- Leads full delivery life cycle; including planning, requirements and impact analysis, estimation, design, build, test, deploy and support
- Defines data governance and security standards facilitating discussions between end users, data modelers and security analysts
- Create training materials for SAP end users documenting processes and procedures. Develop financial systems knowledge/competency in super users and subject matter experts throughout the business.
- Develop and analyze reconciled data extracts for audits and other user requests
- Proactively identifies challenges for month/year end close processing providing mitigating solutions
- Lead the development or enhancement of financial system capabilities, identifying gaps and solutions incorporating internal controls
- Identify and communicate data quality issues; quickly synthesize issues for resolution; document gaps in existing processes; verify quality of data through existing processes
- Develop and implement change management strategies increasing adoption of financial reporting and analytical tools
- Lead discussions with business owners defining requirements and potential solutions incorporating analytical insight to data and trends
- Oversee security settings for financial systems incorporating segregation of duties and mitigating controls
- Review development news on future releases identifying impacts and availability of additional functionality
- Demonstrate system functionality to business users incorporating feedback for continuous improvement
- Identify/analyze/root cause discrepancies between data sources and integrated systems
- Manage relationships with key data providers to facilitate the timely receipt of critical information for ongoing data management activities and maintenance tasks
- Leads key initiatives improving internal controls and financial reporting
- Lead implementation of new data, security and financial reporting procedures for new programs or program changes
- Train and monitor quality of other Financial Systems and Reporting Analysts
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in accounting, or finance or equivalent work experience is required
- Business related post-graduate degree is preferred and provides credit for one year of related experience
- Four (4) years of related experience in accounting/finance is required
- Four (4) years of SAP or financial systems experience preferred
- Four (4) years’ experience in business analysis and solving business problems using information technology and business intelligence software
- Managed care or healthcare experience is preferred

Licensure and Certification:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) FP&A, SAP Certified Application Associate or related certification is preferred and provides credit for one year of related experience
Working Conditions:
- General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- May be required to travel occasionally
Compensation Range:
$83,000.00 - $132,800.00CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
