ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Financial Systems Administrator’s primary responsibilities include supporting the Company’s worldwide financial consolidation, reporting, and planning, and data management systems (Oracle EPM Cloud – FCCS, PBCS, EDM) with additional responsibilities of assisting in the maintenance, testing, and training related to each of the tools.
Key Responsibilities
Provides timely and effective technical support to internal customers to troubleshoot issues and minimize down time for the end user community
Assist in maintenance, testing, and updates of the Company’s worldwide financial close and consolidation system (Oracle EPM Cloud FCCS) and planning & budgeting system (Oracle EPM Cloud PBCS) and Data Management tool (Oracle EPM Cloud EDM)
Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual worldwide consolidation and closing activities
Perform monthly standardized testing of requested metadata changes related to EPM application elements and user requests for new/revised metadata in EDM transfer changes to other EPM Cloud tools
Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive EPM training to global users
Participate in the continuous improvement of all financial consolidation, reporting, and planning systems
Responsible for maintaining an effective control environment over consolidation system including interaction with both internal and external auditors
Responsible for ensuring that all material data elements and business requirements are captured for consolidated analysis
Develop and maintain financial report inventories, documenting requirements for requests, documenting application object configuration and system specifications, documenting processes
Respond to internal customer requests within the Financial Systems Footprints queue (Incidents/Requests) and EPM Support email inbox
Responsible for cross-training of responsibilities with other staff members as assigned
Provide backup for EPM System Administrator as needed
Special projects and other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems preferred
2-5 years of experience with Oracle EPM Cloud FCCS, Oracle EPM Cloud PBCS, Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning preferred; or 2+ years with a comparable financial consolidation system
Knowledge and Skills
Strong computer skills including Excel and Word
Experience in Access, PowerPoint, Infor LN or other ERP systems, visual basic and SQL
Strong communication and organizational skills
Detail and customer service oriented
Manufacturing, SEC, tax and financial consolidation experience a plus
