Job Description

INOVA Federal Credit Union is seeking a relationship-focused, motivated, and member-driven Financial Solutions Specialist to join our Branch Operations team at our Granger Branch location.

This position is an excellent opportunity for a financial services professional or recent college graduate looking to build a rewarding career in banking, lending, and member relationship management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with current and prospective members by providing exceptional service and personalized financial guidance.
  • Identify member needs and recommend products and services that support their short- and long-term financial goals.
  • Open and service checking, savings, money market, IRA, HSA, and business accounts.
  • Assist members with consumer loan applications, credit cards, and other lending solutions.
  • Conduct loan closings and explain loan terms, documentation, and requirements.
  • Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, cashier’s checks, and other account services.
  • Educate members on digital banking, mobile banking, debit cards, online banking services, and other available tools.
  • Assist members with account maintenance, problem resolution, and service-related requests.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships through financial education and appropriate product recommendations.
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while following all credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support branch operations and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Financial Services, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant financial services experience will be considered.
  • Previous experience in financial services, banking, lending, account services, retail banking, sales, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with consumer lending, account opening, or financial products is a plus.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Positive attitude and passion for helping members achieve financial success.
  • Ability to obtain Notary Public certification, if required.
Position Details

This is a full-time position located at INOVA Federal Credit Union's Granger Branch in Granger, Indiana.

The Financial Solutions Specialist will work closely with branch leadership and team members while supporting members through account services, lending solutions, financial education, and exceptional service experiences.

Standard business hours are Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays as needed based on branch operations. Employees may occasionally be scheduled before opening or after closing to assist with branch operations.
