Summary
Design and lead financial solution strategies that help healthcare organizations optimize revenue cycle operations and business outcomes using Netsmart technologies. Partner with clients to understand operational, billing, reimbursement, and compliance requirements, then translate those needs into scalable workflows, system designs, and implementation approaches. Apply solution expertise, industry knowledge, and consultative leadership to guide workflow design, drive solution adoption, resolve complex challenges, and deliver successful client outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize revenue cycle workflows, including claims management, reimbursement processes, accounts receivable activities, and financial operations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on healthcare financial best practices, workflow optimization, and solution adoption strategies.
- Translate business and technical requirements into functional solution designs across systems, data, and workflows
- Guide clients through workflow design, system changes, enhancements, and ongoing solution maintenance within a defined domain
- Configure and validate solutions to ensure alignment with standards, implementation methodologies, and regulatory requirements
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of solution issues across implementation, testing, and operational phases
- Manage client relationships and expectations to support engagement outcomes and solution adoption
- Develop and maintain documentation of workflow designs, best practices, and solution standards
- Validate configurations and solution designs using AI-supported checks to improve consistency with standards and regulatory requirements
- Resolve solution issues using AI-assisted diagnostics and knowledge retrieval to accelerate troubleshooting and reduce resolution time
Qualifications
Required
- At least 4 years of health care information technology implementation or consulting working experience
- At least 2 years of Electronic Health Record solution work experience
- At least 1 year of project management experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with technical, clinical, and operational stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex and sometimes contradictory information to solve problems effectively
- Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and deliver client-focused outcomes
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
Preferred
- Experience designing workflows across systems, data, and operational processes
- Experience facilitating client-facing workshops or workflow discussions
- Experience working within defined implementation methodologies
- Experience supporting testing, validation, and issue resolution
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements impacting health care systems
- Experience with healthcare revenue cycle management, including claims processing, denial management, payment posting, accounts receivable, or reimbursement workflows.
- Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, managed care, or behavioral health billing processes.
