The trainee position will provide you with hands-on experience in the way we provide financial services to our clients. It will offer an insightful look into the financial services industry as it relates to the world of sports. OFS Wealth seeks hardworking and driven applicants to closely work with members of our successful Financial Services team. We’re looking for someone who is considering accounting, financial planning and/or client management as a career, and who wants to get a head start learning the day-to-day operations of a financial services group. You will spend time working in each division of OFS:  Financial Advisory, Investment Operations, Client Services, Cash Management and Tax Planning, to gain a well-rounded experience of our operation.

The position is located in our McLean, VA headquarters office and is a paid, limited term position (35-40 hours per week) in the summer. Qualified candidates are college students and recent graduates.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide administrative support to the OFS team with new and existing account administration and maintenance
• Set up new client accounts
• Process client bills and analyze client cash flow and spending data
• Handle day-to-day financial issues and research special client issues
• Perform initial due diligence on potential investment opportunities for clients
• Address client-specific financial challenges and escalate to the advisors/business management team
• Research tax considerations for clients
• Research NIL opportunities for clients
• Other related duties as assigned.

 Required Qualifications:

• Current college student or recent graduate
• Ability to prioritize workload, juggle tasks and follow projects through completion
• Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Strong digital literacy – proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
