Our London office is currently looking for a Financial Services Strategy Manager within our Corporate M&A and Securities practice group.
The Role
This role will primarily support the Global Financial Services Group to drive profitable growth of business and revenue, ensure client satisfaction, expand client relationships, and generate increased referrals across the network. The role holder will collaborate with and support the Global Head of Financial Services together with the Global Financial Services Partnership to bolster the practice and drive high performance. In addition, they will also provide support to the Global Head of Corporate M&A and Securities on strategy related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Supports and helps deliver strategic initiatives, drives operational excellence, and works closely with Partners and our Business Services teams (BD, Pricing, Commercial Finance etc.) to execute change initiatives that shape the future of the Global Financial Services Practice.
- Analyses financial and commercial data to provide strategic insights and advice to relevant Partners.
- Assists in efforts to monitor performance, improve and develop, with the team, solutions across the group from a Global perspective.
- Tracks and monitors performance and reports key insights to the Global Head and Partners.
- Provides support across our EMEA region and to the wider Global team where needed.
- Plays key role in helping bring together the marketing and commercial efforts of the EMEA and Global teams.
- Oversees billing and collections from a Global perspective - where required, acts as “quality control” for invoices on cross-border and Global matters to ensure that they are delivered to the client accurately and coded on firm systems to allow for accurate reporting from a Global perspective.
- Collaborates with LPM, Commercial Finance Business Partners and PSEs where needed to ensure phase and task codes are set up correctly on global matters for reporting purposes.
- Facilitates and troubleshoots to help Global Financial Services Partners deliver successful client outcomes.
- Monitors and regularly reports on progress against strategy to Global Head, and adjusts plans in light of changing market dynamics, economic climate and business trends.
- Works closely with Business Development in relevant initiatives for the practice such as Global Financial Services Week and other notable matters for the group.
- Collaborates with Business Development in responses to significant RFPs to provide Global insight and consistency in approach.
- Collaborates with the Group’s administrative support/resources and other business services teams to ensure global objectives are met
- Provides support to the Global Head of Corporate M&A and Securities on ad hoc strategy related matters.
Skills and Experience Required
