Position Requirements: High school graduate3 years medical billing or collections medical claims processing experience insurance verification or home care customer service. Ability to operate data entry keyboard and 10 key calculator.Working knowledge of PC with experience in word processing or spreadsheet applications.Orientation to detail and accuracy.Good math skills.Good knowledge of billing and third party reimbursement. Ability to understand broader scope of operations and adapt to changes accordingly.Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette.Good communication skills.Requires minimal supervision.Works under pressure and meets deadlines.Ability to identify and set prioritiesAbility to work in a team environment.Adapts approach in all interactions. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds or when patient is unable to assist with the lift patient handling equipment is expected to be used with at least one other associate when available.
