Prepare monthly internal management reporting and external IFRS reports, ensure accuracy and timeliness, improve internal controls and reporting processes, standardize reporting tools (Excel, Exact), and support annual tax return preparation and audits.

As a Financial Reporting Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting, contributing directly to the professionalization and growth of Finance. You combine strong technical accounting knowledge with a hands-on mentality, and you enjoy translating complex reporting requirements into clear, reliable outcomes.

Beyond reporting, you will act as a driving force behind the improvement of our internal control framework and reporting processes, working closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and coordinate the monthly internal management reporting
  • Prepare external IFRS reporting (e.g. annual report, in cooperation with the Finance team and external auditors)
  • Ensure reporting is accurate, complete and delivered on time, and help identify opportunities to improve the reporting process
  • Participate in organizational improvement projects, including enhancing the internal control framework.
  • Support the team in the standardization and continuous improvement of reporting tools and templates, including Excel and Exact
  • Contribute to the preparation of the annual tax returns

Key Requirements

  • Completed education as a Chartered Accountant (RA)
  • Relevant working experience at an audit firm
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and experience with Exact (or a comparable ERP/accounting system)
  • Accurate, structured and hands-on, with an eye for detail as well as the bigger picture
  • Able to work independently while also collaborating well within a team
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Currently based in the Netherlands

Skills Required

  • Completed education as a Chartered Accountant (RA)
