As financial reporting senior accountant you are a crucial team player who contributes to the team’s objective of timely and accurate financial reporting. You are responsible for your assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting tasks as well as ad-hoc or special projects that arise.
What You’ll Do:
You will prepare recurring and non-recurring journal entries timely and accurately.
You’ll research financial statement expense vs. budget variances thoroughly to determine the drivers and communicate findings effectively in verbal and written format.
You will perform other month-end duties and submit financial reports and data required on a timely basis.
You’ll prepare quarterly allocation studies for review and approval by Executive Allocation Committee, including interaction with other departments to obtain required data, as well as analysis of the data.
You will perform monthly account reconciliations timely and accurately. Ensure account activity and balance align with expected results. Investigate and resolve reconciling items timely.
You’ll identify, propose, implement and document process improvements.
You will work cross-functionally with other departments to gain understanding of business and data requirements. Propose, evaluate and help implement solutions that help improve accuracy of general ledger balances and/or transactions.
You'll assist in internal and external audit requests.
You will assist management in ad-hoc projects/tasks, as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent. CPA license is a plus.
5+ years of progressive and relevant accounting experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and with different departments within the organization.
Driven, organized, detail-oriented, and strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and provide recommendations for process enhancements.
Ability to multi-task and adapt with changes in tasks and timelines.
Experience working in a fast paced and heavy deadline-driven environment, with willingness to work extra hours as necessary.
Oracle and Hyperion experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, high emphasis on advanced Excel skills.

The starting pay range for this position is:
$90,400.00 - $120,300.00Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
