The Financial Reporting Specialist will be responsible for:
- Providing financial reporting to groups on a monthly basis
- Working in multiple carrier sites to capture data accurately
- Utilizing Excel to manipulate data
- Correctly inputting data into complex reporting packages
- Reviewing data to find inaccuracies
- Learning new technology and programs
- Producing and distributing reports
- Explaining financial reporting to benefit analysts, producers and clients
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills or better
- Keen attention to detail
- Critical thinking skills and ability to spot abnormalities in data
- Strong general computer and internet skills
- Ability to quickly learn new software systems
- Strong organizational skills and task-oriented
- Capable of passing State Life and Health licensing exam upon hiring

Experience and Education:
- College degree in data analytics, finance, insurance, mathematics, statistics preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in group health insurance and/or data analytics preferred
Licensing and Credentials:
- Employee Health and Life License (Active)
Systems:
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Applied Epic experience preferred, but knowledge of similar Agency Management System (AMS) is acceptable
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Repeated use of sight to read documents and computer screens
- Repeated use of hearing and speech to communicate on telephone and in person
- Repetitive hand movements, such as keyboarding, writing, 10-key
- Walking, bending, sitting, reaching and stretching in all directions
- Ability to attend client meetings when requested
