  • Make sure trades are accurately reflected in the Treasury Management System (TMS) and reconcile with the general ledger.

  • Own the accounting and reporting for derivatives and hedge accounting.

  • Deliver timely and accurate statutory, regulatory, and management reports.

  • Provide clear explanations of treasury performance to stakeholders and support audit processes.

  • Collaborate with the Head of Treasury and Senior Investment Manager on planning and forecasting.

  • Support enhancements to the TMS and test system changes.

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and apply new accounting standards in line with Bupa policy.

  • Share your expertise with the wider finance team and contribute to broader initiatives.

Key Skills qualifications needed for this role

We’re looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and a collaborative mindset.

You’ll need:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) – please specify this on your application.

  • Experience in treasury accounting or financial services would be beneficial.

  • Solid understanding of IFRS, especially IFRS 9, 13, and 7.

  • Proven experience in financial and management reporting, ideally in a multi-currency environment.

  • A proactive approach to process improvement and documentation.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • A team player who meets deadlines and delivers high-quality work.

  • Experience with Treasury Management Systems would be beneficial
