We are looking for a QA Engineer with a strong financial orientation to join our QA team and lead testing of complex accounting processes within core systems.
Responsibilities- Analyze business and financial requirement documents
- Write test scenarios for accounting processes
- Perform manual testing on financial systems (Web / Back Office)
- Conduct end-to-end testing of financial processes (charges, credits, reconciliations, interest, fees, etc.)
- Perform data reconciliation and validation across systems
- Work with databases and analyze data using SQL
- Identify, analyze, and document defects with a focus on calculations and data accuracy
- Collaborate closely with Development, Product, Finance, and external vendors
- 2+ years of experience in software testing (Manual QA)
- Proven experience writing test scenarios based on specifications
- Experience testing financial / accounting / banking systems
- Understanding of accounting processes (e.g., reconciliations, journal entries, financial transactions)
- Strong SQL skills (data validation, cross-checking, analysis)
- Experience with end-to-end testing of complex multi-system processes
- Experience with defect management tools (Jira / Xray / QC / TFS)
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, functions, data analysis)
