Position Overview: We are seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our growing Finance and Accounting team. This role is integral to our mission, providing strategic insights and supporting key decision-making processes through comprehensive financial analysis. Essential Functions:

  • Financial Planning: Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of financial planning processes, including annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range strategic plans.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, performance metrics, and operational drivers to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with teams to develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Strategic Planning: Provide financial insights and projections to aid in decision-making processes.
  • KPI Development and Monitoring: Identify relevant KPIs, establish benchmarks, and monitor performance against targets.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks, evaluate financial impact, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Investment Analysis: Analyze investment opportunities and assess ROI.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with various departments to gather data and support decision-making.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve financial processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: At least 3+ years in financial planning and analysis; 5-10 years in finance within manufacturing preferred.
  • Certifications: CPA, CFA, or CMA preferred.
  • Skills: Advanced financial modeling and analysis using Microsoft Excel; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong skills in interpreting complex financial data and providing actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent abilities to articulate financial concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies.
  • Technical Knowledge: Experience with databases, ERP systems, and financial modeling tools.
  • Problem-Solving: Knowledge of problem-solving solutions in finance and accounting.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing environment, economic principles, and financial markets.
