Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Based in Marshalltown, IA, you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the business, ensure the integrity of financial statements, and maintain internal controls. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Manage financial results reporting, budgeting/POR, monthly reviews, annual budget meetings, and planning cycles. Ensure strict cost control and departmental accountability.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements, safeguard assets, monitor internal control systems, and adhere to corporate policies.
• Collaborate with the Assistant Business Unit Controller to review reconciliations, HFM reporting, and implement internal controls and policies.
• Oversee inventory procedures, including transactions, standard costs, physical inventory/cycle counting, variance analysis, and valuation.
• Communicate regularly with management about financial issues, operating performance, and advise on financial objectives, policies, and actions.
• Recommend methods for financial evaluation of projects and handle ad hoc projects as needed.
• Engage in trade working capital plans and day-to-day management, providing improvement and risk mitigation recommendations.
• Evaluate capital appropriation requests to align expenditures with business unit goals.
• Foster teamwork, safety, creativity, trust, and respect. Maintain positive working relationships across finance and other functional areas.

You are a detail-oriented Finance Manager with expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. You excel in providing strategic financial direction, fostering teamwork, and maintaining positive relationships across departments. Your proactive problem-solving skills and commitment to financial integrity make you a valuable asset. 

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting and/or Finance 
• 10+ years solid experience in accounting and or finance
• Attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Strong computer skills including experience with a major ERP such as Oracle, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
   

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Masters' degree preferred
• Ability to think critically, highly driven and self-motivated with strong analytical and organizational skills

• Skills in handling financial presentations and communicating with management personnel on all levels
