We are seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Intern to contribute to Intelcom | Dragonfly’s financial planning, budgeting, and performance reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in forecasting, dashboard development, and data-driven decision-making in a dynamic business landscape.
Responsibilities
Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning to guide strategic decisions.
Perform variance analysis and financial modeling to evaluate performance and risks.
Develop and automate KPI dashboards and financial reports using Power BI and Excel.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting and analytics.
Identify process improvements and implement automation to enhance FP&A efficiency.
Contribute to the shift toward driver-based planning and AI-powered forecasting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial insights with operational goals.
Translate complex financial data into actionable business recommendations.
The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
Strong intent to pursue a CPA designation.
Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and financial modeling.
Experience with ERP systems, AI driven analytics and automation tool, and coding for analytics, is an asset.
Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Ability to create insightful reports from large datasets and create insightful reports.
Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
Strong collaboration, communication and presentation skills
