General position summary:
The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst performs financial analysis and supports budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. This role is primarily responsible for data preparation, variance analysis, and report generation, ensuring accurate and timely financial information is delivered to finance leadership and business stakeholders.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and update recurring financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc)
- Compile and consolidate data for budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Perform detailed variance analysis and flag significant fluctuations for review
- Maintain financial models and spreadsheets under direction of FP&A leadership
- Validate and reconcile financial data across systems and reports
- Support budget owners by providing requested financial data and standard reports
- Assist in the preparation of presentation materials and reporting packages
- Execute standard financial processes, including data pulls, uploads, and system updates
- Document processes and support improvements to reporting consistency and efficiency

Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or related field required
- 1–3 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or financial analysis
- Experience working with financial systems and reporting tools a plus
- Progress toward CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus, but not required
Travel:
- Less than 10% travel required.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Computer Operations:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn and effectively use software applications such as move management, accounting/billing, HRIS, timekeeping and other applications used in the performance of job duties.

- Ability to multi-task and organize workflow to manage daily responsibilities, meet deadlines and prioritize work.
