As a member of our Business Transformation team, you will work as an extension of our client’s team to advise on and lead their transformation initiatives. Your work will serve in a functional role on high impact transformation initiatives and serve as a liaison with key stakeholders and the finance group, helping them to identify improvement needs and fully execute the changes to address them.


The Supply Chain Finance Manager is a key member of the Business Transformation team and will help influence clients’ financial and business decisions. This person will lead and/or support project teams engaged in the successful delivery of a wide range of Business Transformation initiatives, aligning finance with business strategy in support of the broader organization's future vision.


Roles and Responsibilities:


· Oversee cost accounting and inventory processes, including complex standard cost development and month-end closing activities.

· Lead analysis of material, labor, and overhead variances as well as inventory reconciliations, , and the development of key inventory controls.

· Help develop supply chain and finance strategies by assessing a client’s business challenges/needs/gaps, diagnosing the root problems, and recommending an approach leveraging CFGI assets.

· Develop and apply an understanding of manufacturing, planning, spending and sales trends, to manage risks and opportunities.

· Provide best-in-class business partnering support, and deliver quality reports and analysis used to make informed business decisions.

· Identify and support CFGI business development initiatives, including serving as a subject matter expert in cost accounting and supply chain management in certain aspects of the proposal and scope development processes.

· Maintain an understanding of trends affecting supply chains including systems, digital transformations, analytics, the COO ecosystem, and broader marketplace.


Preferred Skills:


· Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with workflow automation and business intelligence software is a plus.

· Knowledge of ERP technologies (e.g. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft D365/Business Centra/Dynamics, etc.).

· Experience in or partnering with manufacturing organizations is required.

· Project Management experience is a plus.


Qualifications and Capabilities:


· Finance-focused with at least five plus years of experience in supply chain finance, cost accounting, and/or supply chain management. Client service experience in top professional services firms (i.e., Big 4 or large regional) is highly preferred, but not required.

· CPA or CMA certification is preferred. Supply chain certifications are a plus.

· Advanced understanding of and proficiency in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing setting.

· Experience partnering with operations teams is required.

· Strong proficiency in cost analysis, supply chain forecasting, optimization, budgeting, and financial modeling.

· Significant engagement management experience, as well as business, practice, and people development.

· Ability to concurrently manage internal firm and external client requirements.

· Experience with finance technologies such as Adaptive Workday, Planful, OneStream, Anaplan, Cognos, Oracle Hyperion, Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, Fusion, etc. is a plus.

· Experience leading projects/teams and the ability to lead key requirement workshops with clients.

· Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate with clients, document requirements, and articulate the value proposition and business case for various finance transformation solutions.

ABOUT BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION: 


As a member of our business transformation team, you will work as an extension of our client’s team to advise on and lead their transformation initiatives. Your work will serve in a functional role on high impact transformation initiatives within the CFO organization. You will serve as a liaison with key leadership in the finance group helping them to identify improvement needs and fully execute. Typical activities may include business process optimization, technology enhancements, strategic finance and analytics, workforce planning and restructuring, training initiatives and coordinating with outside advisory partners (audit, legal, etc.). Your work will focus on high impact initiatives, including process improvement, automation, close acceleration, IPO Readiness, restructuring, sell-side diligence, carve-outs, M&A integration, and other non-routine transactions. 


Operations Transformation – This CFGI offering helps transform the office of the CFO, empowering them to drive meaningful and lasting change within their organization. This is inclusive of: Operating model optimization, current and future state operating model assessment and optimization, event-led transformation, first 100 days transformation (from an IPO perspective), IPO/SPAC program management and governance, and operational public company readiness assessment. 

 

Technology Transformation - This CFGI offering helps organizations navigate through the challenging landscape of solution options in order to keep up with new approaches to infrastructure, data storage, and operational capabilities. Our structured approach focuses on key steps to ensure our clients receive the support and expertise required to reach their desired future state. This is inclusive of:

· Technology selection, PMO and implementation services 

· Enterprise Performance Management (PMO, PIM, and Business Case Development) 

· Automation, including Robotics Process Automation (RPA)
