Job Summary
Financial Planning & Analysis Manager offers strategic partnership and unbiased guidance to business units. Spearheads cross-functional efforts to provide forward-looking, actionable insights that focus on driving strategic value and influencing key business decisions. As a strategic and hands on business partner, will lead all aspects of Finance support, including close & reporting, forecasting, budgeting, strategic financial planning, business case development, deal modelling, and other ad hoc analysis.  Will become a key member of the LATAM Finance team as well as the Brazil Leadership Team (BLT), supporting Brazil's commercial organization within the International Medical Products and Distribution business unit, reporting to the LATAM Sr. Finance Manager.
Responsibilities

  • Act as finance business partner to the Managing Director of the Brazil commercial operations, providing insights and support in all finance related topics including full P&L ownership.

  • Ownership of the financial close process, overseeing external accounting firm, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual results, with a comprehensive understanding of key variance drivers providing strategic insights to the business.

  • Lead the quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting, and multi-year strategic financial planning processes. Ensuring alignment between all financial plans and commercial strategy.

  • Build cross functional businesses cases to drive value add creation for Brazil's commercial operation.

  • Liaise with Accounting, Tax and Treasury teams driving alignment between different parties and ensuring execution of in country finance requirements.

  • Provide deal modelling support by assisting business partners in all aspects of commercial agreement appraisal to allow for informed decision making which is aligned with profitable growth strategy.

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization (Commercial, Supply Chain, HR, Accounting etc).

  • Maintain financial controls to ensure the safeguarding of our company’s assets and compliance with all relevant internal and external policies and regulations.

  • Promote excellence through a culture of continuous improvement in our process and key business inputs.

  • Build trusted, effective relationships with business leaders and cross-functional partners across Brazil, LATAM, International, and Corporate teams.

  • Act as a key member of the Brazil Leadership Team, contributing financial expertise, business perspective, strategic recommendations, and transformation.

  • Influence stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization by translating complex financial information into clear, actionable business insights.

  • Lead with a collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach to support business priorities and organizational alignment.

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and direction to team members or finance partners as applicable, fostering accountability, ownership, and continuous development.

  • Promote a culture of financial discipline, transparency, compliance, and high-quality execution.

  • Communicate financial performance, risks, opportunities, and recommendations clearly through strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field required.

  • Proficiency in English:  Fluent (read, write, speak). Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • 6+ years’ progressive experience in FP&A with acumen in accounting and general tax practices including 3+ years of management experience

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel Skills). Knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP preferred. Aptitude for BI tools such as PowerBI and Tableau.

  • Adept at analyzing data and information and recognizing patterns to build financial forecasting models

  • Solid and results driven Financial modelling skills

  • Ability to work in a highly matrix environment.

  • Ability to successfully establish processes in a dynamic environment.

  • Solid leadership skills and ability to mentor and develop others.

  • Ability to influence key stakeholders in Brazil as well as International and Corporate environments.

  • Working, up-to-date knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
