We are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Intern to join our team. In this role, you will gain practical, hands-on experience working alongside FP&A professionals to support financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to process improvements, and help deliver financial insights that guide business decisions. This position is ideal for candidates eager to develop foundational skills in accounting and finance within a dynamic organization.
Responsibilities
- Shadowing members of the department as they perform their duties.
- Assisting with research, filing, data entry, recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
- Preparing standard and ad-hoc financial reports.
- Participates in month-end closings, ensuring the monthly variation of accounts is in line with expected results, also in the preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations and data consolidation, as required.
- Assists the Audit process by preparing the information requested by the auditors, as required.
- Cooperates closely with the GL/AP Team, Treasury, and Financial Analyst.
- Participates in the preparation of process documentation, as required.
- Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
- Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, or a related field, or currently pursuing a Master’s degree in one of these areas.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Good Excel skills are required.
- Proactive, team-orientated, and deadline-oriented.
- Aptitude for math, and proficiency with computers.
- High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
- Motivation and a strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible.
