Our Finance Operations team is seeking a rockstar financial operations analyst to join our team in the Colombo office. You will be a motivated self-starter with excellent teamwork skills and the ability to get involved where needed. You will be an integral part of the operations team by assisting with all types of client requests that relate to finance, special projects and day to day operational activities while demonstrating attention to detail and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Tasks and Duties

• Manage communications between finance and other internal/external stakeholders through various channels
• EFT documentation verification and approvals
• Assist with monthly Foundation invoicing
• Complete reversals following a monthly schedule
• Be willing to sit in on development meetings as they pertain to finance improvements
• Provide guidance during client implementation
• Follow/work within our monthly operations cycle
• Ad-hoc client reporting
• Assist with selling securities and processing FX trades
• Assist with Accounts Payables (AP)/ Accounts Receivables (AR) entries
• Assist with process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (major in Accounting or Finance)
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a fast growth environment
• Strong knowledge of client programs, Spark and our financial processes as a company
• Attention to detail
• Communication skills, both written and verbal and application towards customer service
• Strong people skills as this team member will be working across teams
• Comfortable working in Excel
• A self-starter, and the ability to work independently
• Ability to meet strict deadlines
