About the role:

Essity is seeking a Financial Master Data Analyst with strong accounting knowledge. In this role, you’ll ensure the accuracy and quality of financial data, support master data projects, and develop training programs. Collaborate globally, solve complex problems, and drive improvements.

The GBS Financial Master Data team creates and maintains finance objects like GL accounts and cost centers. Quality assurance is key, as many processes rely on accurate data. You’ll work closely with colleagues worldwide and other finance leaders.

What you will do:

  • Communicate and support the Master Data vision, including global harmonization and a single Master Data process.

  • Monitor and review Financial Master Data flows, ensuring quality and accuracy, and highlight issues for improvement.

  • Understand global Master Data policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to Financial Master Data processes.

  • Train and communicate with Essity’s business functions to ensure understanding of the global Financial Master Data set.

  • Respond to complex, escalated inquiries and develop problem-solving guidelines.

  • Proactively contribute to projects and initiatives, challenging the status quo.

  • Coordinate testing activities in projects and in the run phase.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant area.

  • Three plus years of experience within Accounting.

  • Experience with Excel and SAP (preferably MDG and S4/Hana).

  • Analytical mindset, eager to learn and share, and holistic thinking.
