A day in the life of a Financial Markets Quant Integrator
● Developing
○ Integration of the C++ quant libraries into an enterprise Java application servicing pricing and risk functions (Market & Credit Risks)
○ Real-time pricing functions and risk metrics to support trading desks
● Leading
○ Provide technical leadership for the code quality produced by the team
○ Quantitative eye for mathematical correctness of deliveries
○ Ability to understand business requirements and translate into technical solutions
● Supporting
○ Provide L3 support to our Business critical systems serving Financial Markets Trading / Sales / Market Risk Management
● Innovating
○ Keep a proactive eye on new technologies that can bring added value to the business and to the project in general

● University Master degree with strong numerical and programming experience (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, …)
● Technical expertise in several of the following domains: Multi-threaded Java development, Spring Boot, API design, SQL, Angular, C++, Docker
● Knowledge of Financial products
● Several years of experience, preferably in an international framework
● Soft skills: Fast learner, Flexible, Team player, Stress resistant
As a Financial Markets Quant Integrator, you will have the opportunity to:
● Create solutions to cover a wide range of Financial Markets products across asset classes (Interest Rates, Equities, FX, Commodities, Credit)
● Interact in a mature project involving many individuals (80+ colleagues) across BE / NL / RO
● Following the AGILE Scrum methodologies and ING Way of Working, evolving in the challenging business environment of Financials Markets
The team
You will join the Financial Markets Quants team, specialized in derivative products, covering a wide range of asset classes (Interest Rates, Equities, FX, Commodities, Credit) supporting businesses in London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Singapore and New York.
