FIG principally advise banks (including Deutsche Bank), insurers, governments, asset managers, stock exchanges, FinTech and PE firms across all Corporate Finance products. Importantly, FIG serves as Deutsche Bank's Senior Executive Relationship holders for the majority of Deutsche Bank's most important clients.
FIG is about both coverage and execution. FIG delivers a service from start to finish, although we bring in other teams when needed. Within Corporate Finance we primarily work with country coverage, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Equity Capital Markets (ECM), Financial Sponsors Group (FSG), Leveraged Debt Capital Markets (LDCM), sponsor coverage and United Kingdom (UK) Corporate Broking.
You will be evaluating companies, developing models for M&A transactions, preparing industry and product analyses for pitches, monitoring capital markets and interpreting relevant data for our clients, or getting involved in the execution of live deals.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating and assisting in origination and execution of M&A, Leveraged Finance and Equity Capital Markets (ECM) transactions.
- Supporting senior bankers in the coverage effort of key accounts across the FIG sector.
- Conducting sector and company research, quantitative analysis, company valuation, credit analysis and financial modelling.
- Engaging with clients, other advisers and senior investment bankers in both origination and execution projects.
- Taking a productive role in live projects and developing an understanding of our clients’ businesses.
Skills
- Relevant Corporate Finance experience supporting the origination and execution of transactions (at least 6-18 months experience in the field).
- Fluent in French, very good English level written & spoken
- Understanding of complex deals with structuring capabilities across M&A, Leverage Finance and Emerging Capital Markets
- Solid understanding/ deal experience within the FIG sector
- Strong quantitative, numerical and analytical skills.
- Creative problem solving abilities.
