What You’ll Do

As a Financial Institution Consultant, you will:

  • Perform Loan Compliance Risk Reviews and Loan Operations Internal Audits.
  • Work with clients in scoping and planning Loan Compliance or Operations engagements.
  • Communicate with clients and team members to best utilize available resources and achieve established objectives.
  • Communicate with clients to determine root causes of exceptions and make recommendations to assist clients in improving or enhancing their operational processes or compliance performance.
  • Serve as a resource to our clients and assist our team with maintaining cutting-edge awareness of current operational issues, regulatory compliance issues, legislative developments, and industry trends.
  • Develop and participate in the provision of periodic training on applicable laws and regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Have or earn and maintain professional association membership and participate in events that promote interaction with clients and prospects.
  • Regularly exercise discretion and good judgment in the performance of essential job functions.
Who You Are
 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An associate or bachelor’s degree, and/or a banking compliance, risk or operations certification.
  • A combination of at least four-year targeted education or related work experience; and familiarity with loan compliance requirements and/or loan operations.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally, both written and verbally.
  • Ability to autonomously self-manage multiple projects.
  • Appreciates and is fanatical about attention to detail in all deliverables.
  • Self-initiated and attentive to detail in planning, prioritizing, working independently, executing, and organizing work effectively and within expected timelines.
  • Flexibility to work remotely with ability to travel locally and overnight as needed.
  • A proven track record of mentoring and delivering exceptional client service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Location

Saltmarsh offers a flexible hybrid work environment with offices in Pensacola, Tampa, and Orlando. This position may also be eligible to be performed on a fully remote basis.
