Summary/Overview:
KBRA (Kroll Bond Rating Agency) is seeking an Analyst to join its Financial Institution’s Group. This position offers a successful candidate the opportunity to grow and advance as a ratings and financial institutions research professional in a demanding and dynamic environment.
About the Job:
- Perform in-depth analysis of financial statements and presentations from financial institutions that include tracking and analyzing the financial performance of rated financial institutions
- Aggregates and summarizes data that will be used in committee memos, detailed research reports, and analytical materials
- Collaborate with team members to produce comprehensive industry reports
- Assist in the monitoring of a portfolio of financial institutions to identify and assess significant developments
- Provide support to the team in conjunction with the creation, proofing, editing, and publishing of press releases and reports as well as archiving key data related to the ratings process
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
- 0-2 years of experience within financial services or a related field.
- Strong interest and/or relevant work experience in credit or financial analysis and/or, accounting.
- Strong proficiency in verbal and written communication, as well as advanced Excel skills.
- Organized and highly detail-oriented, accustomed to allocating time to double-check work.
- Naturally inquisitive and strong desire to develop analytical skills and learn different business models
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and general productivity is a plus.
Salary Range:
The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000 to $80,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
