Your Impact as A Financial Education Consultant
Alight Solutions Financial Education Consultants provide financial education services to employees of one or more Alight Solutions clients.
We are currently recruiting an Education Consultant to staff a Pittsburgh based position. The Education Consultant will work from home and/or work from a client location.
The Education Consultant will perform the following responsibilities and services:
Enrollment meetings for Client employees: The Education Consultant will provide an overview of the Client Retirement Plans, answer questions, and assist participants in understanding the available tools, resources, and other benefits programs administered by Alight to promote overall financial well-being.
Group meetings: The Education Consultant will deliver various retirement and general financial education workshops to Client employees on a regular basis, either in person or virtually via a webinar platform. The workshops to be delivered will be tailored to the Client Retirement Plans and agreed upon in advance by both Client and Alight Solutions. The Education Consultant will be responsible for preparing some education workshop materials and recording educational videos when requested.
Ad hoc meetings: As enhancements and modifications are made to the Client Retirement Plan(s), the Education Consultant will conduct group meetings to educate and inform Client employees on the Plan changes.
Individual employee financial education sessions: The Education Consultant will educate employees on how to use the retirement and investment tools available to Client employees so that each employee may:
(1) Set personal retirement goals,
(2) Assess the employee's current strategy relative to his or her goals,
(3) Develop a savings and investment strategy,
(4) Utilize tools and resources available to improve their overall financial wellness
In addition to the education sessions, the Education Consultant will be available to support employees in their use of the retirement and financial planning tools on an ongoing basis.
Monthly Reporting - The Education Consultant will provide Client and Alight Solutions with monthly reports of the sessions performed. Reports of each session noted above will include the number of sessions conducted including number of attendees, topics covered and a summary of attendee feedback.
Develop Training Materials: The Education Consultant will develop new retirement and financial planning education information as well as continuous improvements to existing workshops and material.
Travel - The Education Consultant will be available to travel to Client locations as agreed upon by Client and Alight Solutions on an ongoing basis.
Position Requirements
3 to 5 years of experience in delivering financial education workshops to individuals or employees.
Individuals with 3 to 5 years of experience in a financial or investments call center with excellent presentation skills will be considered.
FINRA Series 7 (or 6) and Series 66 (or 65) are required.
CRPC (Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor) or similar designation required (or willingness to obtain within six months of hire).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office required, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
Strong employee retirement plan knowledge preferred.
Alight requires all virtual interviews to be conducted on video.
