Job Family Definition:
Drives the implementation of best in class financial systems providing relevant, timely, and accurate financial information for financial planning, decision-making, control and risk management, and internal and external performance measurement. Works with Finance and Information Technology to design, construct, and implement financial and business processes and systems requirements globally such as a new reporting system. Develops design requirements for implementing new systems. Determines type of functionality needed in a new system (e.g., designating the business required documents in implementing a new reimbursement policy). Implements processes and tools that support efficiency initiatives.

Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.
Responsibilities:
- Manages the financial review, drafting, and execution of contracts and Statements of Work (SOWs) with Professional Services vendors, ensuring compliance with Global Procurement policies.
- Owns and supports the onboarding and offboarding of professional services resources.
- Owns the accuracy of expenses with service vendors against approved budgets, performing cost control and variance analysis for professional services spend.
- Applies advanced financial and analytical expertise to identify risks, trends, and optimization opportunities.
- Interacts with internal/external stakeholders to examine moderately complex issues or concerns and drive effective solutions.
- Develops and maintains financial process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and internal controls, ensuring consistency and audit readiness.
- Communicates financial insights, risks, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and vendors.
- Troubleshoots existing processes and independently resolves minor issues.
- Applies advanced subject matter expertise to evaluate the business potential of projects and initiatives.
- Solves moderately complex, multi-system and process-related problems.
- Develops risk mitigation and contingency (fallback) strategies.
- Generates ideas and leads initiatives for process improvements.
Education and Experience Required:
- First level university degree with a focus in finance or computer science; advanced degree preferred.
- Typically 4+ years of experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proactive self-learner with high adaptability, able to navigate ambiguity and changing priorities.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and risk-focused mindset.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
- Strong internal and external oral and written communication skills, including financial communications with stakeholders and vendors.
- Experience driving and developing financial process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials, ensuring consistency and alignment with corporate and branding guidelines.
- Expert proficiency in Excel.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis and attention to details such as budget planning, cost control, variance analysis, invoice validation, and reconciliations.
- Experienced in negotiating pricing, commercial terms, and conditions with professional services vendors, ensuring alignment with financial targets and cost efficiency.
- Strong leadership skills.

- Intermediate understanding of financial systems and processes in finance areas.
- Advanced understanding of accounting principles.
