This Financial Data Analyst position is located in Boston Massachusetts and is a Hybrid role - must able to go into the office 1-2 days per week

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Utilize visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Excel, etc.) to design, develop, and implement interactive reports and dashboards that provide valuable insights.
  • Build and maintain user-friendly and informative dashboards, reports, and presentations to enable day-to-day strategic data-driven decision making.
  • Collaborate with key users and stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate those into effective end products.
  • Create a relationship of trust and cooperation with key users and stakeholders.
  • Analyze and validate data to ensure accuracy and validity within reports and dashboards.
  • Gather and analyze financial information on costs, prices, expenses and revenues.
  • Assist with the design and production of monthly reporting and analysis.
  • Support different areas of the business through analysis of financial data.
  • Ensure company compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and assist with interpretation and implementation of new accounting standards.
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Excellent organizational, oral presentation and written communication skills.

    · Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze and organize data.

    · Ability to work both in a team situation and autonomously.

    · Proficiency in Microsoft applications, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.

    · Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activity streams.

    · Ability to work effectively and communicate with all levels of management across the company

    · Data visualization (Tableau or Power BI) and/or business intelligence experience preferred

    · Must have Experience working with large data sets

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite (primarily Excel), ability to work with large data sets, and experience with financial analysis

  • Must have the ability to manage task load.
  • Must maintain attention to detail at all times. 
  • Excellent organizational skills, verbal, and written communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel. 
  • Possess discretion to work with confidential information. 

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance

As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $53,000-$62,000. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave

Compensation:

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.  As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role below.
