  • Review and make recommendations for higher-risk Financial Crime activities, including high-risk customer relationships, EDD requirements, fraud referrals and Financial Crime escalations.
  • Review transaction monitoring outcomes, screening alerts, providing challenge, direction and approval recommendations where required.
  • Review Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) investigations and determine whether disclosures to the National Crime Agency (NCA) are required.
  • Act as a Financial Crime subject matter expert, providing advice, guidance and constructive challenge to the wider business.
  • Support the assessment and resolution of complex Financial Crime cases, escalations and regulatory matters.
  • Support the implementation of Financial Crime systems, controls and regulatory change initiatives.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and maturity of the Financial Crime Framework, promoting best practice and a strong Financial Crime culture across the business.
