FHP Manufacturing is a leader in the production of geothermal and water source heat pumps, providing some of the most efficient heating and cooling comfort solutions in the industry. Located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, FHP is a joint venture between Robert Bosch (Bosch) and Carrier Corporation (Carrier).
Job Description
The Financial Controlling Intern will support FHP`s controlling/finance team by performing business controlling functions, preparing reports, and performing ad hoc analysis.
Responsibilities will include:
- Provide proactive support to operation in monitoring, compiling, and interpreting financial data for reporting, planning and decision-making purposes.
- Conduct analysis to drive initiatives.
- Create weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end KPI reporting and financial operations packages.
- Support annual business planning and forecasting process.
- Support inventory controlling process, daily sales reporting, and daily production reporting.
Basic qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, or a recent graduate, pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Candidate must be self-motivated, proactive, team-oriented, and resourceful.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic working knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (Advanced Excel required).
Desired qualifications:
- Other PC skills and programs including Hyperion Financial Manager, SAP BW and SAP Analyzer (preferred)
