Financial Controller

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

• Partners with plant management to resolve financial related issues, assist and guide them on the method of cost allocation and assessments

• Closing duties, including cost center and account analysis, process order reviews and corrective actions, distributions and assessments. 

• Owns manufacturing costing for the plants within the region. Partners with business management team to ensure the product master data and cost are properly updated and accurate, resolve financial related issues, assist and guide them on the method of cost allocation and assessments, supports the manufacturing budgeting and forecasting process if applicable. 

• Provides guidance to the plant regarding capital expenditure system management and fixed asset accounting.

• Sets up and maintains plants and warehouses cost center distribution and assessment in SAP to allocate costs. 

• Sets up and maintains plants and warehouses profitability assessment function in SAP to correctly reflect business performance and provide basis for financial analysis. 

• Leads collaboration with plant management and regional analysts to ensure that product master data and costs are properly updated and accurate as well as plant books are closed accurately and in a timely manner. 

• Performs plant specific analysis to identify trends and control issues that need addressing. 

• Other projects assigned.

• Closing duties, including cost center and account analysis, process order reviews and corrective actions, adjust entries and posts recurring entries, distributions and assessments. 
• Guides the plant on management of the plant capital spending system and on accounting for fixed assets. 
• Sets up and maintains plants and warehouses cost center distribution and assessment in SAP to allocate costs. 
• Sets up and maintains plants and warehouses profitability assessment function in SAP to correctly reflect business performance and provide basis for financial analysis. 
• Leads collaboration with plant management and regional analysts to ensure that product master data and costs are properly updated and accurate as well as plant books are closed accurately and in a timely manner. 
• Manages plant level incentive accrual and metric tracking. 
• Performs plant specific analysis to identify trends and control issues that need addressing. Resolves issues through to resolution and communicates fiscal changes/adjustments as needed. 
• Other projects as assigned. 

Scope 

This position has responsibility for 1 to 3 plant locations. This position may supervise Regional Analysts located at the various plant locations. 

• Graduate from relevant departments of universities (Business, Economics, Economics, Finance, etc.)

• At least 3 years of experience in finance or in a similar field or position

• Good level of English knowledge

• Good level of MS Office applications

• Having strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively interpret financial data,

• Being proficient in MS Office programs, especially being able to use Excel effectively and being familiar with financial analysis tools.

• Good communication skills

• Adaptable and eager to work in a multicultural organization

• Self-driven with a solution-oriented approach

Scope;  Other projects as assigned.  This position has responsibility for 2 to 3 plant locations.
