The Team
The Financial Controller will support all Finance operations of Italia Mundipharma Business, including analysis, accounting, business partnering in close collaboration with Country Finance Lead, cross functional business team and Global Finance Organization. It’s a great opportunity for curious talent who want to develop into a true finance leader.
Role and Responsibilities
Execution and optimization of FP&A activities - Prepare comprehensive financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and conduct KPI monitoring to support strategic line management
Accounts Payables oversight - Supervise the FSSC in invoice processing, manage vendor master data, and ensure all payments align with internal approval limits.
Controlling Logistic - Oversee inventory valuation, write-offs, and warehouse movement reports to maintain precise accounting records.
Controlling reports: Establish and maintain meaningful for business reporting
Closing & Accruals: Manage monthly closing activities, including accrual accounting, payroll reconciliations, and fixed asset register maintenance
Reporting Excellence: Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and OPEX reports, ensuring all data is accurately reflected in the Tagetik system
Support in Controlling projects: Delivering timely and accurate accounting and financial records and reports including general ledger and financial statements, in accordance with local GAAPs
Audit & Compliance: Coordinate documentation for internal/external audits and handle information requests from public authorities.
ERP Integration: Serve as a key contributor to the rollout and integration of the new SAP system.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with the Finance Business Partner to prepare budget submissions and distribute month-end files to business areas
What you’ll bring
Academic Foundation: Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Financial Management would be ideal
Professional Background - Proven accounting/finance experience, preferably within an international or pharmaceutical setting.
Hands-on experience with SAP, Tagetik, and Esker would be an advantage
Strong knowledge of international finance standards and compliance with and a proven track record facing audits.
High-level mastery of Microsoft Office, with "power user" capabilities in Excel.
Excellent written and spoken English is required for this global environment.
Previous experience within a Big 4 firm is considered a significant advantage.
