The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for delivering accurate financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and business insights to support strategic and operational decision-making. In this role, you will partner with finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate financial performance, identify trends, improve planning processes, and provide recommendations that strengthen profitability, cost management, and overall business performance.
What you’ll do
Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities, ensuring assumptions are well supported and aligned with business objectives.
Management Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for finance leadership and business partners.
Variance Analysis: Analyze actual results against budget, forecast, and prior periods to identify key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario planning, profitability analysis, pricing decisions, capital investments, and strategic initiatives.
Business Partnership: Collaborate with operational leaders and cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance, challenge assumptions, and support informed decision-making.
Cost and Margin Analysis: Evaluate cost structures, margin trends, productivity opportunities, and financial performance by product, customer, business unit, or function.
Month-End Support: Partner with accounting teams during month-end close to validate financial results, explain variances, and ensure reporting accuracy.

What You Need to Be Successful
Education: A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field is required. CPA, CMA, CFA, or MBA designation is considered an asset.
Experience: Typically requires 5 or more years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required; experience with ERP, consolidation, reporting, planning, or business intelligence tools is strongly preferred.
Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial statements, variance analysis, forecasting methodologies, cost accounting, and business performance metrics.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Business Partnership: Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and work collaboratively across functions.

Salary Range:
$96,600.00-$128,800.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
