We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our Group Finance team. In this role, you will support the Group Controller and finance teams across multiple entities in delivering accurate reporting, maintaining internal controls, and contributing to sustainability and governance efforts.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with a few years of experience to grow their expertise in an international, dynamic environment. You will gain broad exposure to group financial operations and ESG reporting while learning from experienced team members. In essence, your role involves:
Financial Control
- Assist in the consolidation and analysis of Group financial results (approx. 15 legal entities)
- Support balance sheet reviews, reconciliations, and accruals
- Review financial submissions from subsidiaries for completeness and consistency
- Contribute to process improvements in financial control and reporting
Reporting
- Support month- and year-end closings, ensuring timeliness and data quality
- Assist in preparing statutory and internal reporting packages
- Help coordinate audit processes and ensure audit readiness
ESG & Governance
- Collect and validate ESG data across departments
- Assist in preparing ESG performance reports (e.g., GHG emissions)
- Support the implementation of basic ESG controls and procedures
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
- Graduate degree in finance or Chartered Accountant (RA, ACCA, CPA etc.).
- 3 - 5 years’ experience with financial control and accounting from either audit and consulting firm or from similar role within corporate.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of and experience with IFRS and internal controls.
- Knowledge of ESG regulations, CSRD, EU Taxonomy, GRI etc, is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, fostering collaboration across departments and engaging stakeholders in international settings.
- Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail.
- A ‘hands on’ work style, comfortable with understanding the big picture while being able to dive into detail.
