The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of financial reporting. This role is pivotal in managing internal controls, leading the accounting team, and providing actionable financial insights in a dynamic and complex business environment with multiple revenue streams.
What you will do
• Lead and manage the finance team, including management accounts, accounts payable, and the cash application team.
• Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements.
• Develop and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate the preparation of the annual budget and support financial forecasting.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders.
• Implement systems improvements and drive process efficiency across finance operations.
• Support the CFO with strategic projects, financial planning, and business analysis.
• Operate effectively in a complex business environment with multiple revenue streams and business units.
• Ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliations and management of working capital.

Your Profile
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• 5+ years of experience in a finance leadership or financial controller role.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and corporate tax.
• Proven experience working in complex environments with various revenue streams.

Exposure to international operations or multi-entity environments.
• Track record of leading process improvements or systems implementations.
• Proficiency with SAP, IBM TM1, and Oracle HFM.
• Strong systems acumen and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
Desirable
• Experience in SaaS, hardware and software licence revenue
