The Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Financial Content Writer to join our client's team full-time. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging and differentiated content that showcases a unique approach to wealth management. You will play a key role in developing a compelling narrative that supports our client in customer acquisition, retention, and brand credibility across various content formats.

Commitment and Duration

  • Full-time role with an initial commitment of 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
  • Flexibility in working hours as long as you can meet deadlines and collaborate effectively with the team.

Objectives of This Role

  • Craft high-quality, engaging content for the company website, blogs, LinkedIn, and other platforms to establish a strong market presence.
  • Develop in-depth resources such as guides and eBooks (12-35 pages) that highlight the company's value proposition.
  • Create credibility pieces on topics like selecting financial advisors and retirement planning to differentiate the company from competitors.
  • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and develop content ideas that align with the evolving brand and market strategy.
  • Ensure all content adheres to SEO best practices to enhance traffic and conversion rates.

Responsibilities

  • Write, edit, and publish content across various channels including websites, blogs, LinkedIn posts, and long-form content such as guides and eBooks.
  • Conduct research on industry trends to ensure content is current, accurate, and relevant to the target audience.
  • Work closely with the marketing and strategy teams to align content with business objectives and brand voice.
  • Review and revise content to ensure it meets quality standards and reflects the company’s unique approach to wealth management.
  • Monitor content performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to improve engagement and effectiveness.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience writing in the financial services industry, particularly within wealth management, investment, or retirement planning sectors.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong command of financial terminology.
  • Ability to simplify complex financial concepts into clear, accessible language.
  • Experience with SEO and content optimization techniques.
  • Proficient in using collaboration tools such as Slack and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, contributing to the development of the brand voice and content strategy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as CFP, Series 65, or similar financial credentials are advantageous but not required.
