This position is full time (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST.
We offer 4 weeks of on the job training and the hours during training will be 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST, Monday - Friday.
Primary Responsibilities:
This role will be the main financial P&L owner for multiple Optum Health leaders that work across all areas of the business. You will partner with the different leaders to identify risks and opportunities in their P&L's, create quarterly forecasts, track monthly financials during the close process. This role will also create and present monthly and quarterly reports that will be used for tracking SG&A and FTE for all the Optum Health businesses and how their results compare to targets set by Optum Health leadership.
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Create, maintain, and report on quarterly and monthly financial reports for various Optum Health Shared Services team leaders
- Produce and Present detailed P&L summaries
- Identify risks and opportunities and make business leaders aware of your findings
- Financial Analysis
- Track and report on monthly and quarterly SG&A and FTE targets across all the Optum Health businesses
- Partner with Shared Services teams to provide financial insights to help teams hit various reporting targets set by leadership
- Create Ad-Hoc reports requested by Optum Corporate and Optum Health Leadership

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- 2+ years of experience in Forecasting / financial modeling
- 2+ years of experience in Monthly financial reporting
- 2+ years of experience in Data Analysis
- 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
- 2+ years of experience in Teamwork / Collaboration
- 2+ years of experience in Smartview financial pulls and modeling
- 2+ years of experience in PeopleSoft data pulls
- Ability to work four in-office days per week

Telecommuting Requirements:
- Reside within commutable distance to the office at 1 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $60,200 - $107,400 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
