Manulife Wealth and Asset Management provides comprehensive financial and investment solutions, including financial planning and insurance, to clients across the wealth spectrum. As a Financial Consultant, you will play a vital role Providing investment solutions and guidance to employees transitioning from their current employer. You'll understand their investment and financial needs to guide and assist them in planning their future.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Proactively call and receive calls from existing group retirement plan members who are leaving or have left their employer retirement plan to discuss their investment options and offering various Manulife’s Investment Solutions.

  • Engage in one-on-one needs-based conversations over the phone with group retirement plan members.

  • Educate members on the benefits of various investment options and communicate our value proposition.

  • Review and provide investment guidance on Group Retirement investments. 

  • Prepare financial illustrations to help members plan their retirement income.

  • Guide members through need-based analysis and develop personalized action plans.

  • Identify referral opportunities by understanding clients’ preferences and situations.

  • Consolidate external investments

Required Qualifications:

  • Licensing: You will need to obtain the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) before starting. Financial support for obtaining this license will be provided.

  • Education: Post-secondary education is an asset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as an investment advisor or MFDA/IIROC license is preferred

  • Ability to articulate value propositions effectively over the phone.

  • Strong active listening skills to understand clients’ needs.

  • Attention to detail in recording customer information accurately.

  • High integrity, always putting the client at the center of every conversation.

  • A strong compliance mindset and commitment to staying informed about our products and services.

Working Arrangement

The compensation for this role includes salary and sales incentives and is expected to be between

$65,000.00 CAD - $105,000.00 CAD

Employees participate in sales incentive programs and earn incentive compensation based on role-specific criteria.
