As a consultant, you'll collaborate with a diverse range of customers from various industries. Each new project will expand your knowledge, honing your ability to create tailored solutions that precisely match the client's needs. Your creative problem-solving skills and adaptability will be instrumental in making a lasting impact on our clients and driving overall success.

What You Will Do

Our consultants lead all aspects of small-medium implementations of the Prophix Software, including:

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to evaluate current consolidation, close, and financial reporting processes and design optimized future-state workflows for multi-entity organizations.
  • Solution Implementation: Architect and configure the Prophix Financial Consolidations solution to support complex consolidation requirements, including intercompany processing, eliminations, foreign currency translation, ownership structures, and close management, while ensuring high-quality and scalable solution delivery.
  • Process Design & Optimization: Design and improve month-end and quarter-end consolidation processes, including data integration, account mapping, reconciliation support, journal workflows, top-side entries, and consolidated reporting, with a focus on control, efficiency, and audit readiness.
  • Client Coaching: Coach and enable client finance teams to effectively use the software and understand the underlying consolidation processes, empowering them to manage ongoing close and reporting activities with confidence.
  • Project Management: Communicate project progress, technical solutions, key decisions, and potential roadblocks to clients and internal leadership in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
  • Accounting Standards Application: Support the consolidation of financial data across multiple entities and subsidiaries in accordance with applicable accounting standards, including GAAP, ASPE, and IFRS, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting

Required Qualifications

  • A mix of experience, training, or education that helps you succeed in this role.
  •  3-5 years of experience in financial close process management including Consolidations, Account Reconciliation
  •  Experience producing consolidated financial statements.
  •  Knowledge of Investment / Equity eliminations, currency conversion, and intercompany eliminations.
  •  Working knowledge of IFRS, ASPE and GAAP
  •  In depth understanding of Cash Flow
  •  Collaborate with finance, accounting, and reporting teams to gather necessary financial data and resolve consolidation issues
  • Comfort using AI tools responsibly to support tasks such as research, drafting, or data review
  • Ability to learn new tools and adapt as technology evolves
  • Curiosity and openness to exploring new approaches
  • Collaborative mindset when working with teams and technology
  • Must be legally entitled to work in the country where this role is located

Preferred Qualifications

  • Qualified Chartered Professional Accountant in good standing
  • A deep passion for technology, innovation, and making a meaningful impact through software.
  • Superior and demonstratable problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and approach challenges creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-centered focus.
  • Self-driven, highly motivated, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility in managing different stakeholders and personalities, including C-suite executives.
  • Experience with other Consolidation solutions, such as Hyperion, OneStream, Tagetik

Compensation 

The total target compensation for this role is $112,000 CAD to $128,000 CAD, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws in Canada and the United States. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
