The Team
Global Procurement Finance owns procurement performance at Kraft Heinz together with key global and regional stakeholders. The team drives analytics, strategy, and capabilities across the procurement function to ensure best-in-class inflation control, cost savings, cash management, and performance reporting methodologies.
The Role
We are looking for an ambitious Financial Analytics intern to join the team for a period of 6 months and support across various financial reporting, analytics, and strategy projects, including but not limited to:
- Consolidating and reporting financial results from different regions throughout the business cycle.
- Analyzing and forecasting cost inflation for the current year as well as forward-looking strategy plans and budgets.
- Collaborating with global and regional teams to improve procurement performance rituals and routines.
- Ensuring proper implementation and use of various KPI-tracking methodologies.
- Innovating existing processes and driving automation of financial performance analytics.
- Driving ESG from a financial perspective to meet the company's long-term sustainability targets.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Discover the world of procurement finance and the critical role of procurement in driving organizational goals.
- Apply key financial concepts including cost variance analysis, total cost ownership, price savings and value generation, ESG finance, cash flow management, etc.
- Own your personal and professional growth in the world of FMCG/CPG finance.
- Collaborate with various functions and teams beyond procurement finance and learn how we come together to drive global performance.
- Learn how to use different analytics tools.
Your Profile
- You are at least in the final year of your undergraduate studies in finance, economics, data analytics, or another related field. Preferred if pursuing a master's degree in finance or related field currently.
- You are proficient in the MS Office Suite (especially in Excel and PowerPoint). A working knowledge of Power BI and Tableau on top is preferred.
- You can communicate in English fluently (at least on a C1 level).
- You are collaborative, hungry to learn, and willing to take initiative.
- You bring a positive, friendly, and curious mindset to work.
- You are able to partner with different stakeholders across different teams to drive results.
- You bring a constant innovation mindset to the table and are always thinking about how to do things better and more efficiently to drive performance.
- You can run projects independently with minimal supervision.

Job requirements:
- You are enrolled at a European university during at least 50% of the duration of the internship.
- You are at the end of your Bachelor's degree, or in your Master's degree
- You have good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
- NOTE: EU working rights are required (Either you have an EU Citizenship, or you are studying in the Netherlands).

Note: The recruitment process can take 4/6 weeks in total
What we offer you
Program start date: January 2025
Duration: 6 months (for 40 hrs a week)
Location: Amsterdam.
Please note that you do need to relocate to the Netherlands for the internship (if not already there).
Allowance: 625 euro per month (40hrs, 5 days), a company provided laptop, full reimbursement of travel expenses to the office, as well as reimbursement to improve your work from home environment.

Hybrid Policy:
